The Boy and the Magic Numbers (book excerpt)
Liam loves walking around the city with his mom.
As they stroll along the street, looking around, he notices interesting things everywhere. There’s a road sign with little lines and a circle on it, strange clusters of the same little marks on a shop window, and plates on the houses with those same mysterious sticks and circles.
“Mom, what do these squiggles mean?”
“They’re numbers,” his mom smiles. “They help us count and understand how many things there are around us.”
Liam thought for a moment.
“What are numbers like?”
“Come on,” his mom said. “I’ll show you.”

We chose a story about a girl and a ginger cat because it felt very personal. The creators even changed the cat’s name to match our pet’s name. The result was a perfect story about our daughter and our cat. It was so emotional flipping through the pages. I hope the child will love it too. From order to delivery took 5 days.
